Kootenay National Park, Kootenay River

Was a bit of an overcast smokey day but was so fun to get setup to spend a full day of painting along Hwy 93 on the way to Radium… This summer was a bit of a smokey one here and there but we had some clear days after it rained and washed away the smoke. Kootenays are so magical. This spot is right near where the Kootenay River joins the Simpson River.
