Friend’s House in Nelson, BC

When I was studying Art Therapy at KATI for the summer my friend Abena let me stay at their house there. Nelson is such a wonderful hippy little town. My dog Jasper came with me and he loved it there… although he got sprayed by a skunk in the backyard! I had to bath him in peroxide and baking soda … he had a slight skunk smell for a few months afterwards. Poor guy! I went back there last summer and painted this for her. Any time I can get back to Nelson I’d definitely go.
