Rosebud Paint Out

Went out to Rosebud Alberta again mid September and painted from the deck of the Rosebud Inn. My daughter Kate and painting doggo came with and enjoyed eating pie from the pie shop and running around town. There is wifi at the inn so Kate was happy to lounge out in the cute room while Mama painted. She’s shown some interest in landscape painting and I think it might be time to get her a paint box too!

The vistas around Rosebud consist of spectacular rolling hills, farmland and beautiful meadows. I was perched up on my own private balcony with music, endless cups of tea and just the opportunity to focus on the beauty of the autumn colours and big sky… a painters dream.
